Once I graduated from my undergrad degree and went back for my MBA, I decided that it was time to take control of my life again and get back to the healthy lifestyle I used to have in highschool when life was so much simpler. So I started making the time to get to the gym everyday and re-educate myself about what foods I should eat in order to build my strength and endurance.. and it only took a month or so before I was hooked on the health train!
In 2011, I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to be with my now husband but don't get me wrong, we are both still Yinzers at heart! GO STEELERS! We bring a little bit of Pittsburgh class to the Queen City. He is from Pittsburgh originally so obviously he is a catch!
We got married on April 12th, 2014 and we push each other to be healthy and happy people.
I love looking for all different ways to exercise whether it be zumba, boxing or running and I have tried pretty much everything at this point. I started learning about the proper form for lifting and researching everything I could to learn about what foods would help push me along. Within a year of starting this routine, I had hit my stride and I was back down to a healthy weight for my height and now I am blogging as I try to figure out the balance between work, health, planning a wedding, being a puppy mom and a wife. Can I do it? hmm... follow me and we will find out!!
I've been all over Pittsburgh and Charlotte to take classes, run races and shop for good food and I promise I will share everything I have learned so maybe you can save some time!
